I placed this bet 2 or 3 days ago and I was unlucky really. I laid the draw and plumped it all back on the draw and then laid the team that went ahead again after looking at the stats. I was looking at over £8 ish but it didn’t happen and at least I didn’t lose anything.
We move on.
To try and complete ANOTHER cash challenge using nothing more than Bankroll Management. 99 out of every 100 punters lose because they are mug punters. Not caring if their football bet loses or betting on so called tipsters picks. Not realising that these tipsters get paid by Bookmakers to give out duff predictions. I want to prove with proper BRM you can beat the Bookie.

Bet 43
Ahhhhh I really fancied Malta to score v Faroe Islands. The stats suggested it could happen and it was a big bet if it had come in, but sadly it didn’t.

Bet 42
Bet 42 was more of an insurance bet than anything else. I had backed France at home v Turkey when 0-0 after 60 minutes. I had placed a pre kick off bet on France at 1.40 for £60.
I managed to get odds of 2.00 bang on and bet £2 on the draw. France went ahead with 10 minutes left and I should of cashed out the pre kick off bet but didn’t and it cost me dear. Turkey scored within 5 minutes and it was now 1-1 and that’s how it ended up. Gutted I lost a three figure payout but at least I grew the Bankroll Challenge by another £1.96 (after commission).
The new total stands back to £86.35.
Bet 41
I did say that was it and yes it was. But an opportunity opened for me 24 hrs later and that’s what this is all about.
Bet 41 was Egypt at home and by 60 minutes it was still 0-0 and the home side were camped in the oppositions half. So I placed the maximum £2.50 at odds of 1.66 and within 5 minutes the goal went in.
Take the 4p commission out and I won £1.61.

Bet 40 and that’s it.
That’s it because I’m chasing wins now and I need to stop doing it. This time it’s Wales v Croatia and the away side go 1 up and bang on HT Wales score and they go in at HT 1-1. The stats show Croatia slightly ahead in possession and shots and its worth a punt I feel for Croatia to win. But instead of backing the away side, I see the price for the over 2.5 goals and at 3.5 with 20 minutes to go I have both my bases covered. All I need is a goal for my £2 stake.
Unfortunately it ended 1-1 and another F I B.
That’s definitely it now unless I see a great opportunity. The Bankroll is now £82.77, so still healthy but the games I backed could of easily ended in my favour, but there’s way to much betting going on.
Below is the last screenshot and below that is the proof of the last few bets.
Bet 39
Ok so I need to calm it down a bit now. I was so desperate to cross that £100 mark, that I was punting on silly things. Like Bet 39 for instance, but was it worth the punt though, you decide......
Germany are away to Estonia and Germany have a player sent off mid way through the first half. The odds on Estonia to win are now huge but Germany still were massive odds on to win.
At HT it was still 0-0 and then boom a Germany goal and then another to go 0-2 up. But I still see that Estonia have the extra man and ‘should’ at least score once and that was my plan.
I did manage to back Estonia when Germany scored the first goal. Based on my information above. I placed £2.50 on Estonia @ 12.5 and then when it was 0-2 I laid Germany at 1.02 for £100 costing me just £2. The plan was to let the bet off when Estonia scored.
So what happened next, yes Germany score a third goal and win 0-3 with ten men. I lose £4.50.

Bet 38
Second division game in Spain for this one. Before kick off I checked both teams and there was a lot of draws for both sides, so it wasn’t a surprise to see at HT 0-0. I checked back in the 60th minute and the away side had just won a penalty. They missed it and then I jumped on the over .5 goal for my max bet of £2.50 @ 1.85.
I then of course forgot about the bet, so it was a nice surprise to see the away side win 0-1 and another small profit for me.
Bankroll up to £89.27. Closing in on that first £100.

Bet 37
You’d think at odds of 1/4 on or 1.25 at the start of a match that was Brazil, that you’d not think about the bet losing. However at HT Brazil were indeed losing 0-1. I placed a back bet of £2.50 at odds of 1.37 mid way through the first half. They had loads of possession, shots, everything and then the away side scored......
So I placed another £2.50 on Brazil at 2.62. Thankfully Brazil did score early in the second half. But with 20 minutes to go I thought I’d see what the cash out was and thankfully if I cashed out I was still pushing if Brazil didn’t win and I’d win 33p if Brazil did score the winner. The ended 1-1 and it’s a push. I got lucky on that one!
Bet 36
So after checking the rules again, I can no longer lose more than £2.50 per bet. It does seem a little low but it’s just x33 times my current Bankroll. I was going to change the rules to just x20 my stake, but then remembered, it’s actually at that point. The first barrier is £50 and so losing my maximum stake of x20 is £2.50. I will have to keep working until I break through the next barrier which is £100 and then it goes up to £5 which a little better for laying bets.
When I was writing up the last bets, I thought I only have to wait for opportunities at £2.50 a pop and going over the £100 should be easy enough.
So getting back to the Bet 36, it’s only a baby bet but was almost certainly a gimme. Coventry v Tranmere and 0-0 at HT. I was offered 1.35 for over .5 goals in the match.
I did have to seat it though with the first goal scored in the 83rd Minute. But it won and we move on and wait for other opportunities to present themselves.
It all counts!

Bet 35 and at last
At last because I’m now up to date, or I will be with this last bet and post.
So today is the 12th October and having a week away, I came back all refreshed and ready to go.
Today’s game was Barnet v Woking and Woking are winning 0-2 in the National League. I checked the stats and Barnet despite being two goals down had had more of the ball, most shots on goals and off target to.
I laid Woking @ 1.14 for £77. It pretty much took every penny in my account but I knew Barnet only had to score one goal and I would be in profit.
So I took that chance with 25 minutes still left of the game and just 3 minutes after placing the bet, Barnet did score to make it 1-2.
I checked the bet out and I really should of took the guaranteed £20 when the price settled down. But I didn’t take the £20, I didn’t even take the free money so I still had my £10 left if it went to pot. I just knew I had a chance of winning the full £77. When it reached 10 minutes to go, I checked again and it just wasn’t worth taking what was being offered. Then 90 minutes passed and there was 6 minutes of added time and I basically had given up by now. I checked again in the 94th minute and Woking had the ball and I was then thinking of when to add another £10 into my account after going bust yet again, but then, G O A LLLLLL for Barnet in the last minute.
The final whistle blew and after paying £1.54 commission I now have a Bankroll of £86.35.
Now the rules kick in for the first time. It’s that long since, I need to read them again. But I finally made it passed the first barrier and hopefully kick in from here.

My screen editing I use to trim my screenshots is now not working, so apologies for the untidyness of the screenshot. But you can see the bet and my total quite clearly. I’m going to add another screenshot of my account to show everything I’ve wrote re my bets are all 100% genuine. I do not cheat, why would I when I’ve already done this before and I would only be cheating myself, but when others read this they can see for themselves.
Bet 34 another push.
I was checking through my account and Bet 34 was for £20 and I was going over things in my head and after checking my history I’m thinking, but I only have £10 left, so how could I of laid a bet for £20.
I checked my deposit and nothing there and I’m still scratching my head. I know I’ve only got my last £10, but then I see it. I did lay the Home side for £20 when 2-1 up, but at odds of 1.44. So my liability was £8.80. I did my usual trick though, when it was 2-2, instead of taking a guaranteed profit, I got greedy and placed it all back on the home. It was a free bet and it was worth the risk for a profit £60 ish.
However, it was a push and so we move on with our £10.
Bet 33 and back it goes
So feeling super confident after the win the night before, I laid the draw in the Bournemouth v West-ham game. The score was 2-2 with about 20 minutes in total to be played. The game was really open and so I laid the draw @ 1.79 for £10.
The game ended 2-2 and so I just lost the £7 + 90p on top I had won the night before and I was now back to £10.
Never mind huh, can’t win them all......

Bet 32
So after a disappointing loss in the last bet, I needed a change of fortune or I was going to be broke yet again.
Thankfully I managed to bring home some cash for Bet 32.
Friday night football again and this time Stoke v Forrest in the Championship. Stoke were on a dreadful run and I laid the draw at the start of the second half for the all of my remainder of my Bankroll. The price was 2.7 for the draw and I had just enough to lay the draw for £7.
I then completely forgot about the game.
Luckily when I did remember, I checked the result and was pleased to see Forrest had scored and won the game 2-3 to send me back to £18.
Phew!

Bet 31 PSG at Home
Bet 31 was my biggest loss. PSG are literally super massive odds to win the French league. They are playing at home and so when they went 0-1 down with 25 minutes of the match to go, it was pretty nailed on that Reims would not keep hold of the lead. The price for Reims to win was 2.40 and so all I needed was a goal from PSG and I would win a good £10 easy.
I mean, seriously, who in the right mind would not back PSG to at least score a goal with 25 minutes still left to go.
Unfortunately PSG did lose and not by 0-1 but 0-2 for a major shock. I lost £14 on that bet. I guess there’s no such thing as a cert in football either.
Bankroll back to £11

Bet 30
So Friday the 20th September and another lay the draw game. I laid the draw 25 minutes from the end of the game at 2.00. Unfortunately it remained 0-0 and I lose another £5 to now bring my Bankroll to £25 and change.
Bet 29
Yet another push for Bet 29 just three days later. I had laid the draw and then placed all the money back on the draw for a free bet. Unfortunately, it didn’t pay off this time. So I didn’t lose anything.
Bet 28
I should of known better really, Friday the 13th was a losing bet for Bet number 28.
I had read about Derby having an excellent run of form and I checked the in play odds and Derby had now become an attractive price @ 2.84 for £5.
Unfortunately though, Derby failed to win nor did I have a chance to lay the bet off during the game and so I lost my £5 staked.
I was now back to £30.85, so still in a comfortable position.

Bet 27
Bet 27 was again another push and because it’s been a while, I feel I need to show these pushes despite not winning or losing anything. It also shows that I have been active just like I said I was.
Bet 25 & 26
It’s been just over a month since I last updated this thread. But that’s not stopped me placing the odd bet here or there.
I have always taken screenshots of the bets, it’s just finding the time to post every bet up.
However, I will now try and update when I can and now is one of those times.
So bets 25 & 26 were both pushes, meaning I didn’t lose nor did I win anything.

Bet 24.
Sadly it’s a losing bet, but it provided great value overall and was well worth the risk reward. Playing away v one of the favourites for promotion would of been many a hone win, but I didn’t see it like that. I saw a side that had been undefeated playing away from home with some big scalps already.
So it was no surprise to me that Maidenhead took the lead away from home. Wrexham levelled to make it 1-1 and that’s when I placed the bet. To be honest I didn’t even think about laying the draw when 1-1. If I had I Would of won for sure. Never mind though. Wrexham scored again to make it 2-1 but back came Maidenhead with a goal and that’s how it finished 2-2.

Bankroll update & proof of bets
With the final bet now settled, I can now give you a Bankroll update....... My Bankroll total now stands at £38.93
Just £11.07 before I reach the first safety net and my maximum bet rules kick in. It’s been that long since with failed challenges and re-starting that I’ve forgotten exactly what the first rules are, so I’m going to have to read the blog myself.
Overall I’m very happy and it does show that patience is the best policy. Waiting for opportunities instead of betting on every single game shows it works and so I do not need to get greedy. Who knows how long this line of the number of bets I have to go through until I hit that target of £10k and I’m thinking I may very well keep it going well after that figure is passed.
So below are the last two pages from my Betdaq account and you can see the figures and my blog are exactly the same, there’s no point in lying, I’m only lying to myself. I didn’t lie on my Jesus Poker Bankroll challenge and I have no intention of lying on this challenge either.
There’s some lower league action tonight and I shall see if anything presents itself. Onwards and upwards!

Bet 23
This is the last of the bets and I am fully up to date after posting this bet. I will try and keep updating has I go, but weekends I do get busy with other blogs, Tipster pages I post and of course my assortment of bets I place for myself, I will try and update I promise.
So lastly I had Villarreal at home v Real Madrid. Madrid have struggled since Ronaldo left the club in 2017 and I felt this was a game (based on results so far in the new season) Madrid would struggle with. So I put my money were my mouth was and I backed Villarreal at odds of 5.3 for £3. I thought about the size of the bet and I’ve got to get use to not over spending. I know I have free reign up to the first £50 and if I wanted to I could lump the whole Bankroll on just one fixture tonight if I wanted to. But no, I have to think about Bankroll and that’s the whole idea of this challenge and Blog, to show with proper Bankroll Management, you can turn £10 into £10,000 and beyond.
So getting back to it. Villarreal did score first but Madrid equalised and Villarreal went 2-1 in front only for Madrid to make it 2-2 and that’s why it stayed. It was a bit like the Southampton v Man U game. I knew neither Man U and Madrid were unlikely to win and this time it was nice to be correct.
I also made my biggest win with the Villarreal match, but I took the equal profit when they were 2-1 in front and it worked out to be a good decision with Madrid scoring to make it 2-2.

Bet 22
There is a push bet with Sporting Gijon just before this next bet which was a shame because it would of added another £4 to the Bank, but these things happen. I did say it’s pretty pointless putting those push bets (push means I didn’t win or lose on the bet) into the overall Blog.
So next up was another Athletico Madrid bet. I laid the draw when 2-2 in the 73rd minute. Eibar had scored twice in the first half to go 0-2 in front after just 20 minutes and I thought about laying Eibar then. I knew Madrid would score, but the price for the Madrid win was still very very poor at just 4.33 (100/30).
They left it late though Madrid scoring in the late 80’s to go 3-2 in front and I picked up another £4 and the Bankroll was now in to the £30’s for the first time.

Bet 21
Another French game but this time we have a winner. I laid the draw in the Rennes match in the 67th Minute. It was 1-1 and the stats showed it to be a very open game which is unusual in the French league. They are normally quite tight affairs. Anyhow, there was another goal and I pick up the £3.
Just to add, although I had to move this challenge from Betfair to Betdaq, Betdaq have been running a promotion were there’s no commission taken from football bets from Saturday to Sunday. This must of saved me some money, although not much, but it all counts. I have not read the full terms and conditions, but I think it’s the top 5 Europe leagues, so U.K. French, Germany, Italy and Spanish. If and when this challenge really gets going and I’m laying bets in the £100’s, those commission free days are going to be hugely important to the Bankroll. The site is shite don’t get me wrong, there’s just not enough money in the markets, but I am getting use to it a bit more and it will be nice if it does save the challenge some cash, unlike Betfair who take 5% of any profits. Can you imagine if the bets are on Betfair and how much they would be taking, I mean 5% is a lot. £5 per every £100. So it’s something worth noting for sure.

Bet 20
Woohoo, my best run of bets without going broke.
The next bet was a £1.70 loss with Reims going on to win this match 2-0. The reason why I laid Reims was because it’s extremely rare for the draw to start off at under 2/1 (3.00) it was actually 2.87 and for the risk reward despite going down to 10 men, it was worth the risk and I have no problems with this bet.

Bet 19
Man U away to Southampton. This was just a couple of days ago and I just knew Man U would not win this game. Utd were even (2.00) to win. They are playing away to. Even when Utd went 1-0 up I knew there was a good chance still Southampton would get something out of the game and yes Southampton did score and held on for the point and a nice win for the challenge.
Although when I took the screenshot the bet wasn’t matched, it was soon after and it’s a nice £5 win added to the pot to take it back over the twenty to £21.43.

Bet 18
Bet 18 is Friday night football in the Spanish Liga. It’s Seville at home to Celta Vigo. However it turned out to be a losing bet and a loss of £5 to leave us at £21.63
Bet 17
The next bet was in a champions league qualifier. Vitoria were the home team and although it’s not a life changing amount, it’s more pennies in to the pot.
Bet 16
Bet 16 was Rangers at home. I laid the draw but I pulled out for a small loss. Needless to say Rangers scored in 91st, but overall I have to happy with the decision to take the small loss.
I started with the Bankroll of £26.53 and took the loss of £2.99
I started with the Bankroll of £26.53 and took the loss of £2.99
Bet 15
Another game from the league cup - Bristol Rovers v Brighton. Overall I placed 3 bets but made just short of £10 after commission which is a great result.
Bet 14
Unfortunately I missed the screenshot of this game, but it was in the League Cup. Plymouth v Reading. I laid the draw when 2-2 and it finished 2-4. I had to pay 4p commission out of the £2 win so it’s a profit overall of £1.96
Bet 13 Unlucky for some (yeap me)
I missed the screenshot of this one, it’s a loss but only £2.20. I don’t recall the bet personally and even with the information I’m still at a loss. It still lost though.....
Bet 12 Monday Bank holiday
After Sunday’s various bets we start the last Bank Holiday before Christmas with £21.97. Sadly there is just one league in the U.K. that play on this day and I did actually miss the start of these fixtures because they kicked off in the afternoon and I was expecting 7-45pm kick offs. Never mind, Solihull are playing at home and go one down early in the game and I’m pretty confident Solihull can get back into the game.

Back down to £16.97.......
Bet 11
There’s one more bet from the Sunday Italian game, I go for in the Italian League I think is worth going for and that’s Sampdoria. It’s not a massive win, but they all count and overall I have to be happy with the days bets made. It might only be a £2.08 contribution towards the Bankroll but this challenge is not a sprint but a marathon.
Bet 10
I now have the next fixture quite quickly afterwards and it’s no surprise it’s the Italian League again.
I didn’t take all the screenshots but the end result was a profit of £4.90. In total there are 4 bets made throughout the game.

Bet 8 & 9
Bet 8 was Verona in the Italian League But was a losing bet which cost me a big piece of my Bankroll. But we live and learn....
I now have to try and be extra careful if I want this to work and although still low on funds, we are not broke yet and we carry on.
Next is a small £2 gain on the FC Torino match. I back Torino at home in the Italian league and because the funds are now Just over the starting balance I’ve still got to be careful and take small profits and this is the case with this game.

I missed the end screenshot of the £2, but you can see from the next bet that my balance increased by £2 Onwards and upwards!
Bet 7
So back to £11.80 and the next bet is, backing Athletic Madrid for £5 at 2.02. It was worth backing based on the stats, it proved a good choice and Madrid held on for the win and increases the Bankroll to £13.80
A little catch up & Bet 6
Its been a while since I posted and that’s because I have been so busy. I have however been taking screenshots of my bets
This is the same attempt to just get passed the first phase of hitting that £50 mark and the rules protecting our Bankroll. I will now post the bets from the latest challenge.
The last bet was the German game Paderborn which turned out to be a winner and the Bankroll increased to £17.64.
I then thought Spurs would batter Newcastle and so I laid Newcastle when they went ahead 1-0 early in the game. However that proved to be the only goal, so I lost this bet and was back down to £11.80
